Elizabeth’s competitive nature may have led to her becoming an overachiever. She was the valedictorian of her high school class; graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in English from Athens State University, where she also received the highest academic achievement award for the College of Arts and Sciences; is an accomplished pianist with 16 years of training; and is part of an awesome Bible study group, Two or More, whose members come from many different churches and organize annual MobilePack events with Feed My Starving Children. Elizabeth served as one of WordSouth’s freelance copyeditors for a year before coming to work full time as the office manager and project administrator in 2013. She likes to think of herself as WordSouth’s ninja, using her behind-the-scenes organizational skills to set up projects, coordinate with printers, proof and edit, manage mailing lists, create spreadsheets, serve as WordSouth’s “datakeeper” and so much more! While Elizabeth tries to keep her competitive side under wraps, break out a board game or cards, and all bets are off.
